I am strongly considering the gastric sleeve. Yes I know it's drastic but I am becoming desperate. The fear of dying has become overwhelming recently and I am really worried. I have been dieting my whole life and have exercised and dieted since January and have lost 7 lbs. it is so discouraging. My health hasodefinitely taken a beating. I am suffering from Hypertension, Sleep Apnea and have developed heart palpitations. I am looking for sponsors f or surgery. I have started a page for it and I promise that that is what it will be used for.

Crazy nights and long days
Had a crazy long work night and a very long day and boy have I been off my plan. I didn't weigh myself today or take my weekly pictures but will definitely do it tomorrow. I have some fun plans I will share with you tomorrow but wanted to share these things I found today on Pinterest.

Great day and a recipe to share.
Today has been a great day got everything on my to do list outside done except changing that mailbox those screws are so rusted. I sprayed some Pam on them and hope that loosens them so I can get it done tomorrow.
The biggest problem I have dieting is that sometimes I get up before 8 am and then end being up all night because of work. So I have decided if I feel the need to eat 4 times that day then I'll just have to because really if I'm at work until 6 I won't be in bed until 7 and I know I'll sleep through breakfast. Thank goodness it doesn't happen often but when it does I don't want to blow it eating the snacks we have for the patients.
One think I've been trying to do is cook ahead. Today I cooked roasted brussel sprouts, 6 chicken breasts and 3 tilapi pieces. I am set for the weekend and then will only have to add salads and vegetables or fruit but my main dish is ready just needs heated up
My friend Margie shared this recipe with me and can I say that I love brussel sprouts! Had never eaten one before but have been eating them like crazy.

Garlic Roasted Brussel Sprouts
2 lbs of Sprouts
1/8 of a cup of olive oil
1/2 TBSP of garlic powder
Heat oven to 375. Slice Brussel Sprouts in half. Mix olive oil and garlic powder together and toss Brussel sprouts. Put in shallow pan in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes turning once during cooking. Enjoy!

Today has been a rough day
My friend Lou broke up with me today. I've never had a friend break up with me before said he didn't want a friend he wants a mate and he hopes I understand. Well I don't but this is not going to set me back I stayed with my program and even got my exercise in for the day.

My favorite exercise videos
I haven't been able to figure out how to post my videos all in one link but had three I wanted to share this morning.
Today's my 2nd day of Hungry Girl and this girl is not hungry. Can't wait til Sat to see what the results are. The calorie count is exactly what I was eating before, it's just about learning what you can eat that will make you full.

A New Plan
I have told you I would share this journey with you and that is my intention so there will be speed bumps along the way and I will share these as well as the successes. I found myself starving from the way I was eating I was so hungry food was all I could think about and I found my energy waning so I began looking for something different and came across the Hungry Girl Diet. I have followed Lisa for years and love her recipes so I have decided to give it a shot. In the test study before the release the participants lost an average of 10 lbs. So here we go.
It's available at your local bookstores. I got mine from Barnes and Noble but couldn't wait to get it in my hands so I ordered it for my Kindle from Amazon.

On a side note during our walk yesterday my dog snapped his leash and started running through the park like he had finally won his freedom. He was chasing the geese and having a great time. I finally decided I wasn't going to catch him by chasing him so I set down on a picnic table bench and he wondered over and stood about 5 feet away from me. I told him if he wanted to come back to the park he would not run away at which he got up and started trotting away. He walked through the parking lot and stood at the car door as if to say come on let's go home.

Today's Recipe
My favorite breakfast is an egg mug.
Cook two slices of crisp bacon put in bottom of microwaveable mug, put in two eggs and one wedge of laughing cow cheese. Stir together. Cook one minute in the microwave, stir again, cook another minute and enjoy!
This is super simple and 222 calories.

Welcome to my journey.
I have been considering this for awhile and decided to share my journey with you. I have been dieting for my whole life and am finally seeing results. Let me tell you about myself. I began this journey with my husband in July of 2011 when he was diagnosed with Type II diabetes and we changed our eating habits. I weighed in at 264 and by July of 2012 I was at 210.
Here's a pic of me at my heaviest.
By July 2012 I was at 222. But on July 16 I lost my husband in a tragic accident and lost my way.
In October 2013 I was at 210, not because of eating a healthy diet or exercising but just from the stress of life.
On March 10 with the support of my friend Lou I began my new journey and am determined to get to my goal weight of 165. Lou is on a journey of his own and has put a time limit of by November on us but I am just moving forward in baby steps. My first goal is to get to 199. Which will be the first time any many years that I have weighed less than 200. I will be posting a progression photo each week, here I am today.
If I can't be honest with myself then I can't help you or myself. So on March 10 I weighed 210. March 17 204.6, March 24. 206, and today I am 200.4.
Lou and I began by walking our dogs in the park 3 times a week. My dog and I loved it so much.(yes I have discovered I like exercise) that unless the weather is bad we are there every day. On bad weather days I ride my exercise bike and do a Richard Simmons video, which I will share with you later.
On Monday when I had gained weight I dropped my calorie count from 1600 to 1250. I have had periods of hunger and may go up to 1400, we will see.
To record my food intake I use the fitness pal AP, it makes it super easy in that you can scan the barcode off your food packaging and it records your calories for you.
I will use this blog as a journal of my weight loss and hope that I can encourage someone else along the way. I will post recipes and exercise videos or ideas along the way. If you have suggestions or questions I am more than happy to get them.
I am not a doctor, dietician or exercise guru, I am just on this journey with you. So please before starting any program consult your physician.
Now a little bragging on myself, in July 2011 I was wearing a 22W today I bought a pair of size 14 jeans. Yeah me!
Now to get rid of my muffin top which is there dressed or naked.
